There are a lot of diets out there - Keto, Carnivore, Low-Carb, and such. What works for you?
The “little bit of everything with a sprinkle of common sense” one. At a minimum 70% whole or otherwise foods having undergone relatively little processing – meat, veggies including high-GI ones in moderation, eggs, fish, lentils and legumes, fruits in moderation, nuts and seeds in moderation –, some full-fat dairy, refined grains in moderation (excluding bread which I treat like chocolate), close to zero liquid calories (only hard liquor and only infrequently), zero ultra-processed foods, zero “pleasure-centric” calories (crazy sauces & dressings, sweets) outside of social occasions a few times per month. So in a nutshell high-carb but stuff reasonably compatible with my built-in satiety signals preventing me from going overboard.
