What length for chronic injuries?

Finished my last fast on day 4, did not seem to do much to my injury. I heard something more like 7+ days for healing? Any experience?

Yes i go to physiotherapy regularly , and still no help.

That’s a bit loaded. The nature of the injury is going to have a LOT to do with things. Also keep in mind that while fasting can help the healing process, it’s not some miracle process. You’re just helping your body tackle the problem more effectively - not erasing the damage done. If you’re looking at years of recovery - well fasting can help but you’re still going to be recovering for a while. There’s no “magic number” like fast for 7 days and you’ll feel a bit better, you know?

My experience is it’s not a simple “fast and heal quicker” formula. Heck, sometimes fasting isn’t even the answer. I’m not a physiotherapist or health professional but my personal experience is sometimes I need to eat more regularly to give my body the energy it needs to aggressively recover from some issues. Sometimes fasting is what’s going to help me heal faster. Fasting is just a tool. You’ll need to use it with other tools and evaluate if it’s even the right tool for your injury (or the right time during your recovery)

You at the very least need to give people your history here. MAYBE you’ll get lucky and someone will be able to answer and give you direction but really, this is a conversation you need to be having with your physiotherapist. Or at least a physiotherapist/professional who’s familiar with fasting and the effects on the injured body

Good luck
