What the Plan after the fast

Hi all

I’m starting a new fast today and will be doing a 72h minimum fast every first day of the month.

My question is, what are your plans after you finish the fast ? Do you commit to never eating or drinking something ? Do you commit to eating less ?

I’m done being the chubby guy.And I’m tired of being tired of being fat (if that makes sense)

So I’m working on a plan for the “after” phase of the Fast.

I’ve watch alot of videos on “commit 100% is easy, commit 98% is hard” and those suggest cutting what is the worst for you like sugar or fast food 100% for the rest of your life.I don’t think this is the right path for me so I’m looking for suggestions

Answer

As my fasting goal is currently mainly to loose weight, I am trying to work on stabilization and keeping healthy habits. Am trying to stick to intermittent fasting, eating low-carbs diet, lots of veggies, drinking water, sleeping well, exercising regularly, spending time outdoors, being active, etc.

I am not restricting myself from anything 100 % and am not punishing myself for breaking those healthy habits as that’s not something which would work for me. In order to keep discipline, I am doing sort of regular check-ups, reviewing progress, reoccurring behavior and based on that am adjusting my plan.

What I am aware of is that I don’t want to find a quick solution to loose weight, as in the past this might have worked short-term but I always gained weight back, I am trying to create healthy lifestyle which will be achievable and long-term sustainable for me.
