Like, I would fast for 2 days and eat on the 3th day, and repeat .2 days - fast, 3rd day - eat.
NOTE: I would be drinking water. approx.. 2 cups every 2 hours when I’m awake. I don’t like taking pain meds for my joints and spine, so I just rest in bed and sleep it off. I’m disabled and it is very hard for me to lose weight.
I’m 5’ and 150 pounds. My goal weight is 100 pounds. I’ve fasted before so, that’s not a problem. Actually, it’s quite easy for me and it doesn’t hurt.
this is just for theory and for research purposes! I’m not going to do this to the extreme!
update!:
I have decided trying to do AFD! I didn’t make it 36 full hours though, I made it 33! and then ate something haha.
I’ll continue doing that and as my GW approaches, I will slowly wean off doing that! and get back to normal! Thank you everybody for the tips and info on things I will need during this time!
—You can still comment of course! Info for me is always appreciated and thank you for teaching me what I can do!

A lot of people do rolling 3 days - fast 70 hours and then eat a meal, repeat. That is the regimen I’m on and I am similar BMI to you. As you approach goal I think better off switching to shorter fasts. People talk about it in r/snakediet
You can totally do it. And you will lose weight doing it. I don’t know what your disabilities are so you may want to consult your doctor, but as long as you’re not missing organs or anything you should be fine. Just be sure to take electrolytes on your fasting days.
You would lose far more than 50 pounds. At your height and just being even moderately active you’d lose 50 pounds in about 5 months. I did rolling 72s to lose about 120 lbs last year and it took around 8 months. They work very very fast. Some tips, get some multi vitamins, instead of one a day take two a day morning and night. Crush them up in some warm water and they won’t be as harsh on your empty stomach.
This is eating once every FOUR days. I don’t know. Seems a little extreme unless you’re eating very well healthy/ a lot of healthy food on your eating day. I mean doing that continuously for a whole year —- seems tough! I’m doing 2 - 36 hour fasts a week. Seems much easier - and the weight still comes off. But I’d think about something that is sustainable to stick to — eating is a very social thing too-
