Around 70 is common. Some people get lower. I’m okay until I get to around 56. Even though I’m in ketosis by that point, I start to get symptoms.

It’s very, very important to understand that there are parts of your brain that cannot ever transition to ketones as fuel. Those parts will die without it, and so will you.

Don’t take risks. If your blood sugar goes below 70, you’re considered “low”. If you feel like crap, eat. Seriously. It’s no joke.

It takes time for your body, especially your brain, to transition to ketones. And again, there are parts that can’t.

If below 70 and in doubt, just eat. It’s not a contest. Take care of your individual body.
