The Fastic app says fat burning happens from 11-14 hours after your last meal, and then ketosis kicks in from 14-16 hours after. Does the fat burning stop during ketosis? I’m just a little confused about what exactly is happening.
I’m not sure if it’s technically scientific but at some point before ketosis your liver has burned through it’s normal store of Glucose and starts to figure out what else to use for energy. I’m fairly certain during this stage is when “fat burning” really starts to increase as the main fuel has been exhausted. It’s a sort of “pre-tosis” if you will.
