I know extended fasts aren’t primarily for wieght loss. I’ve done a fair few extended fasts before (I’m female) but recently haven’t been fasting atall and eating all the carbs. I’ve gained so much weight and was wondering, particularly Woman’s experience with extended fasts and weight loss?

My longest was 47 days, during which I went from 404 to 338 (66 lbs) - ideal weight is about 185-190. I gained back 11 pounds on re-feeding so it was a net of 55 lbs. I did not keep the weight off, I don’t think due to the long fast but due to slowly falling off the wagon. (Male)
