My business partners meet me over zoom and I’m wondering if it would be feasible on there. Let me know your experience!
My brother got dehydrated (not from fasting, but from being outside and not drinking any water). It took him over two weeks to recover. The first week he was practically bedridden. Couldn’t think; couldn’t remember; he stayed in a mental fog.
Your body has plenty of backup to replace any food you don’t eat on a fast (fat). It doesn’t have any backup for water.
I’ve seen the effect of severe dehydration on a healthy person. It isn’t pretty.
I’ve done 5 day dry fasts and snake juice fasts and I will tell you that dry fasting is great…. If you want to be completely and absolutely totally worthless for 5 days straight.’
Because about day 2, you fall off a cliff and you don’t get anything done at all. You are going to be totally brain dead and tired all the time. On top of that, dry fasting requires your FULL attention. I run a business and I don’t get ANYTHING done on dryfasting days.
Dry fasting is FOR HEALING. If you just need weight loss, do snake juice. I argue that you can lose more on Snake Juice than dry fasting simply because you can workout on snake juice fasts, burning more fat.
Today is my day 3 of a fast. I haven’t been doing a complete dry fast though - I’ve been drinking only a little water, maybe half a liter throughout the day or less. I feel better than I do when I water fast with 2-3 liters.
My advice would be to just have a tiny bit of water before your meeting and if my experience is the same as yours, you’ll be even better than usual (more awake, better concentration, etc.)
