I have been doing it for almost 4 years now. 2 years at a deficit and now 2 at maintenance. Once you have lost what you want the maintenance is easier because you are eating more. But if you want to lose weight it is just about consistency.
Been on IF for 3 years. I鈥檝e done 16 to 22 hours fasted daily depending on my sched and have taken breaks (shortened my fasting to 12 hours) for the occassional social events or trips.
I haven鈥檛 done a long break. Maybe when I go on a long holiday I will.
