When to know to break a water fast.

I’ve looked up a lot of water fasting tips before I started, however today when I woke up I felt a little bit hungrier than yesterday, nothing super drastic at all, but noticeable. I woke up in about hour 83 of 120. In addition to a slightly more hungry feeling than yesterday, I also feel a little floaty. Not sure how else to describe it. I’m not lightheaded or dizzy, but feel slightly weaker. I’ve been drinking Alkaline water for electrolytes after day 2 as well as a multivitamin alternating days since day 1. I wasn’t sure if the two would result in too much electrolytes. Is this normal in the amount of hours i’ve been doing it or is this cause to break the fast?

Answer

I used to underestimated the effect of electrolytes. I did not take them during my fasts in 2021. I started a water fast 11 days ago, but I felt quite weak during my fast. I had trouble getting to my apartment on the 3 floor. I felt off. Then I had to force myself to get more electrolytes, and I have been rowing during my fast and the stairs are no problem.I felt a little stupid afterwards, but proper electrolytes changed my fast.
