Which app to use?

Howdy! I just completed my first 24hr fast. I was told by a friend to use an app to help track fasting times and results. She recommended Fastic, which seems to be great for the fast she was doing (16:4), but what me and my partner are doing (2 x 24hr fasts a week) is kind of not really an option to track in Fastic.

Any recommendations for an alternative app?

Cheers!

Depends really what you want from it. If you only want something to store your fasting time then I suggest Fast Habit. It’s really straightforward, which I really like.

If you want something more engaging and like some background info that the app can provide you try Zero or Fastic. The graphics are also much better in those too.

Small fyi, to have full access to FH you only pay once which I believe was about 3£. Fastic and Zero are a monthly subscription which isn’t extremely expensive - last time I checked it was 29£ for a year - but I just don’t see a point in spending money in it.

Hi there! I use the LIFE Fasting Progress Tracker app - it’s pretty simple but it works for me. You can set your fasting goal to any length of time, and can adjust mid-fast as needed. All it takes is an email address to log in, and I haven’t gotten any spam from it. Congrats on completing your first 24 hour fast! :)

I love Fast Habit! I second that suggestion. Fast Habit keeps all my fasting data and will add my weight loss over the fasting data. It does this is without having to pay for any subscription. It was like 2$ to buy this app in the states. Fast Habit will remind me to set my time for my fasting. Fast Habit has a widget for iPhone also and it works with the iWatch.

Oh Congrats on your first fast!

I got Fasta last year for new year when they had the free for lifetime subscription. I use that. I asked the devs to make it so that you can choose start date and end date instead of being restricted to 168 hours
