Hi, sorry if this post contains TMI but I am on day 2 of a water fast & I’m still having some bowel movements. I am noticing small white chunks in my stool. Don’t know how to describe them other than they look like small pieces of coral, like a porous sea sponge type of texture.
I’ve been doing carnivore diet on & off for the past 5 months & noticed a lot of this during my first couple months of losing weight too. After about 2 to 3 days of no carbs I would start to notice it happen. I think it had omething to do with the absence of carbs/sugar because the white chunks would go away after I reintroduced them back into my diet.
Now that I am restricting carbs again via fasting, I think the same thing might be occurring. Has anyone else experienced this or knows what it might be? It doesn’t look like any of the parasites or fungus that I’ve researched so far but I could be wrong as I don’t know what else it could possibly be.
“porous sea sponge type of texture” ☠️☠️ jokes aside if you’re worried or feeling some sort of adverse effects from ur weird stools maybe just stick to a moderate deficit with some sugars?
i probably wouldn’t worry too much about it, or possibly give yourself a little more time to see if it passes? (pun intended, sorry again!)
wishing you all the best!
