Why do dried red kidney beans have better macros than canned?

Dried light red kidney beans (35g weight, 90 cals, 9g of protein): 11.25 calories per 1g of protein

Canned light red kidney beans (130g weight, 110 cals, 7g of protein): 15.71 calories per 1g of protein

Is there a reason that (in terms of protein intake) dried kidney beans are better? Those dried kidney bean macros seem too good to be true as they’re dirt cheap and delicious.

Be aware the lectins in raw kidney beans are known to make you EXTREMELY ill even after a tiny amount!!! The cooking process removes some of them and they’re not found very concentrated in many other foods but raw kidney beans are a recipe for sickness (vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea etc)
