Deplete your glycogen stores before you start the fast, i.e., get into ketosis first.
My preferred way of doing this is to eliminate everything except fatty meat, eggs and beef tallow etc for a few days before I fast.
Last time I did this I wasn’t hungry at all 5 days into the fast.
I feel hungriest on the day after eating. I’m on a day two now and don’t feel hungry in the slightest whereas yesterday I was hangry. Yesterday, I made plans to eat today. I should have made that plan for tomorrow.
Anecdotally, I was doing rolling fasts of various for a period of about 2 months, but have been eating like shit for last 3 months. I jumped right into a fast and my last meal was pasta on Sunday night, and havent felt bad at all for 40 hours. Did some snake juice.
I think the body gets used to it, and it seems like riding a bike.
