At your height and being not over weight, shredding will likely make you look excessively skinny and scrawny… from experience i was 6’3 at 18. You just need to add muscle at this stage if aesthetics is your goal.
A moderate calorie deficit that is not severe and is accompanied by a healthy and balanced diet, is unlikely to significantly limit growth but it is still important to ensure that your diet provides adequate amounts of essential nutrients. As others stated, you need to meet your protein goals and ensure proper nutrients.
