I would still avoid it where possible, but you’re fine if you have to rely on it here and there.

You can always look out for better quality ready meals and things of the sort. You’d be surprised at what you can find and keep for back up.

Personally I keep a tin of tuna, jar of organic mayo and wraps (long date without preservative) on hand with some frozen veg, very quick prep.
