The goal of fasting is to reduce insulin level so that your body can use fats as an energy source. Carbohydrates will raise your insulin levels higher then your body will stop using fats as an energy source and cause you problems with fasting because insulin rises significantly while eating carbohydrates , I think you are a vegetarian right? Exercise is not necessary to lose weight. Personally when I work out early into a diet I tend to overeat and GAIN. But everybody is different. Be patient the first few weeks then adjust if you need/want to.
Can you share the recipe for cumin water? Is it made like an herbal tea or something else? In my brain I’m seeing like a salt lassi without the yogurt but I’m probably wrong 😅
