I ate a keto diet for a long time and now I do Weight Watchers; my trainer thought I needed something more sustainable because I had some hinges on keto. I do a 60 hour fast once a week and May add in more. Will it help at all to extend the benefits of my fast if I eat keto the day I break my fast? And then start eating carbs the day after that? Has anyone done something like that? Fasting for weight loss but also autophagy. I am taking a break from long term keto but can do a day or two after fasting if it helps. Thanks.
Entering and exiting a fast w/ Low Carb meals is very useful for weight loss to be sure.
I think fans of this subreddit know less about autophagy than we’d like to admit (me probably among the least knowledgeable). But I’m confident that being fat-adapted for longer will certainly not be a negative factor in getting the maximum benefit from your fast.
