Working out while fasting

I am attempting a 36 hour fast. Is it advisable to play basketball tonight around hour 21 and continue the fast after, or should I eat beforehand? It is usually a pretty intense cardio workout for about an hour.

It shouldn’t be an issue unless you have underlying health issues. Listen to your body and try it. You should find it’s fine

Exercise during a fast not only isn’t an issue for most but typically actually boosts a lot of the benefits. 21 hours is still pretty early in but you should keep electrolytes on hand and take some throughout your exercise if it’ll be intense
