I did 2MAW for ~8 months without any issue. I don’t imagine 1MAW would be all that different.
My goal was weight loss though. On my refeed meals I would pretty much eat whatever I wanted and as much as I wanted. Even with these massive meals, I was averaging a weight loss of 3.5lbs/week.
So if it’s for weight loss and you’re overweight, 1MAW might be OK, but if you’re already close to your ideal weight, I don’t think it’s a great idea.
As long as you have enough stored fat, it seems possible to me. You will experience rapid weight loss and it definitely will get harder as you lean down. At some point you will have to get back to eat more regularly, for sure.
