Yellowish eyes while dry fasting?

I am on the end of my 2nd day, and I’ve noticed the whites of my eyes are a little yellow tinted. Should I be worried?

Edit: According to this graph, prolonged fasting can lead to it, it’s an obstruction of the common bile duct, I’ll move a bit more and massage the area a bit and see what happens

Answer

That’s the kind of thing you need to ask a doctor and not strangers on the internet.

That being said, you could just have bilirubin building up due to not eliminating at all, or it could be full blown liver failure. I don’t know. I’m not a medical professional.

Answer

I get this. I forget what it’s called. Guillen Barre syndrome or something?

It’s essentially bilirubin from your blood building up. Bilirubin competes with other things in your blood to get cleared out by your kidneys - but because your kidneys are now clearing out those other things it doesn’t have the capacity to also clear out the bilirubin.

I’ve had no I’ll effects from this

Answer

Stop dry fasting that is not a good sign. If you continue and something bad happens to you, you’re an idiot. Drink a shit load of water. Sorry to be blunt but I can’t believe you’d even consider continuing after such a symptom.
