Had to break my fast since Thursday last night with a protien vegan shake because my stomach felt like it was going to vomit out of my mouth. I took the electrolytes lite salt and a 200mg magnesium pill in the morning and evening, but I guess I overdosed or underdosed? No idea. I think next time I will take a fasting electrolyte supplement to make it easier.
Day 3 of 10, and going well. Only a few waves of hunger and I’ve dealt with them by exercising and reading fasting blogs. I’m not weighing myself during the fast because as far as I’m concerned my fast is about feeling better and clearing my head - if I could lower my blood pressure, have a clear mind, get better skin, increase my life expectancy AND be a fat fat fatty fat, I’d be right into it.
16 hours in a 160 hour fast. This is the hardest part for me usually, after getting to 16ish hours but still with a few hours left to sleep.
My refeed window will be 2 hours and up to 4000 kcal saturday evening, followed by a complete checkup on sunday (weight, fat percentage, ketones, blood glucose, measurements, blood pressure etc).
