The mental part is the real struggle. Physically, hunger comes and goes, it’s whatever. But damn, just the feeling of wanting to eat. I’ve done 72 before, and realized I didn’t have the desire to go past 48 again. And now, haven’t even hit that, I backed out at 32 hours, and the past few days have decided I’m just doing OMAD lol. Been doing about 1700cal on that, like 6 eggs, beef/spinach, (or italian sausage, or bacon) a banana, a glass of skim milk. And, it’s kept me feeling fine physically but damn the struggle is still real.

Good morning! I’m 52 hours into a 3 week fast. I have two goals: lose weight and heal my body of disease.

Height 5’3” F SW 193lbs CW 184lbs GW 129

I feel really good! I love this feeling of being “light” like the opposite of heavy. My mind feels less sluggish and my achy knees aren’t aching.

I do have to spend some time reminding myself why I’m doing this and what’s helped me is looking at old pics, thinking about the clothes in my closet that no longer fit (in reality they haven’t fit in years) and watching YouTube videos to remind me of the health benefits. Especially videos with Dr Pradip Jamnadas MD.
