Answer

⏳ Length of fast

Currently on day 5 of a 6 day fast (hour 110.5/144). Might make it a 7 day fast, but currently not planning to. We’ll see how I’m feeling at the end of day 6, if I get a random burst of inspiration to keep going.

❓ Why are you fasting?

The expected reason: weight loss. Look at my SW and it tells the whole story lol.

I want to get back down to how much I weighed 10 years ago when I had a physically demanding job as a college student. A decade of sedentary office work, expensive meals, and constant treating myself has been fun, but god damn does it show lol.

Looking forward to watching the man in the mirror get gradually sexier over time.

πŸ“ Note

This is my 4th extended fast since Jan 14th (when I did my first fast), and my first time going beyond 3 days.

Atypically, day 4 seems to have been the hardest for me so far. I cooked a meal for my wife on day 2. Went grocery shopping on day 3. And the one day I stay at home without being around food was the day that I had the most temptation to break lol. Not that I would break without a valid reason, but the temptation is humorous in hindsight.

Feeling good this morning, though. Looking forward to hanging out with friends tonight.
