In the home stretch of a 48-hour fast (10 hours to go!). This is my 4th 48-hour fast in two weeks. I’m a little disappointed because I was hoping to get a longer fast in, but I keep losing motivation at around the 48-hour mark.

On the plus side, though, 48-hour fasts are starting to feel easy. Prior to this month, I’d only managed like 10 of them in my life. I’ve been doing OMAD for so long that my body/brain are trained to get aggressively hungry at the 24-hour mark and it’s always been hard for me to push past that, but I’ve been managing it more and more frequently so I think I’m getting some reprogramming done.

This evening starts my 2-week holiday break so I won’t be doing any more real fasts during that time, but I’ll stick to OMAD most days because it’s just my natural rhythm. I hope I don’t dig myself into a huge hole with holiday eating.

Fasting for real for the first time in like 4 years. It’s sad to know I’ve put so much weight back on, pre covid I was doing okay maintenance then covid hit and I went back to my highest weight.Decided that everything else in life sucked so I was at least going to enjoy food.

Now its almost the end of the year and I’m going through reflection and hate what I’ve become.Anyway, I’m 76 hours into my current fast, energy is flactuating.

Caved and had a stock cube today because my body just felt so heavy. Supplementing with electrolytes, coffee and pepsi max.Not gonna lie. I want some food and might break at 96 hours but I’m taking it one step at a time and listening to my body.Reading through this sub keeps me motivated.

67 hours in and going till Christmas. This will be my longest fast ever. My previous record was only 6 days.

Fasting for weight loss and health benefits like autophagy and immune regeneration.

So far so good. Feeling a little weak sauce physically, but no major hunger issues yet. Need to boost my salt and potassium, I think. And probably overall water amount, too.

Is it dangerous to take hot baths on an extended fast? Idk if it’s a dumb question but I get really cold when I fast so I want to take hot baths but I haven’t before out of fear I’d lose a bunch of water or something. Is this a real thing or am I making it up in my head.
