Your story about Weight Plateau

Well I have been a heavy fat kid but then started taking things seriously, I don’t workout alot. I do go for a walk (15-20KM) not everyday but atleast once a week. Anyways I have been eating only one meal a day now and that significantly made me loose weight I was actually shocked and also very happy to see promising results but now I can see that my weight is just fixed 😕 It’s just isn’t going down any further and the current weight I’m in isn’t what I’m planning of. I need to reduce more but this “Weight Plateau” is making me demotivated.

Can someone share your story on how you overcame this situation.

Answer

Weight plateaus are the way our bodies adjust to a lower weight. This involves hormonal changes and the resetting of what our bodies see as our usual weight after it’s been much higher for a long time. Just keep doing what you’re doing and when your body is ready, you’ll start loosing again.

Answer

Ive been doing IF about 15 or so months. I’ve lost 100lbs, and a currently in my third or so, month long plateau. Focus on not back sliding/gaining, and trust the process. Do your best. The weight will start to go down if you stick to a window, and don’t overeat too too much.
