Zero proof alcohol and fasting?

With zero proof alcohols becoming more popular as of late, I couldn’t find much info on this. Would a zero proof/zero calorie mocktail break a fast or trigger an insulin response in any way?

Let’s say that I’m being very picky about which zero proof alcohol here (so one that is made from water and botanical distillates) and is zeroed out across the board.

About halfway into a 36 hour fast and know my brain could use some tricking tonight with a fake gin and tonic

Honestly, looking at it, it sounds like not much difference than tea as long as it’s unsweetened. The labels can be deceiving in the US so I don’t always trust all zeros to mean all zeros, but I can’t imagine it would that much more than a black tea or coffee.
