ZOA energy drinks

I’m wondering what the opinions are, or the science behind these new energy drinks. Monsters and red bulls all have so many chemicals listed in them. This has many vitamins listed, but also has sucralose. Of course, there are artificial ingredients in these junk drinks, but I find it difficult to live solely just on black coffee, and water. I own an IV spa company that has a few locations and we thought it would be a good idea to add “better for you” energy drinks as a retail offering. We’ve spent two years researching, comparing. and learning… turns out, they’re all poison or shit. Sorry to tell you. We really wanted to brand something physiologically positive, and still energizing, but what we found is that it’s basically one or the other.

It really depends on what characteristics that you’re looking for - is it generally healthier than a Red Bull or soda? Sure.

The whole poison/chemicals thing is misguided, so it really depends on what you yourself define as “healthy” for you. These drinks, just like most beverages, have positive and negative attributes

Answer

Energy drinks aren’t technically “bad” for you besides the high caffeine levels as long as you drink the no sugar alternatives. They are literally just water, sugar alcohol, caffeine, flavoring, and whatever trace vitamins the brand decides to add to make you think it’s more beneficial than the others. You can make your own a energy drinks at home. Get a water carbonator, add flavor drops and dissolve a caffeine pill into it.
