Are fillers fasting-killers?

I’m going for a 14-day water fast. I bought my potassium chloride and magnesium lysinate glycinate and kosher salt. I would also like to take multivitamin during the fast. I know that some vitamins are fat-soluble, so, I won’t be absorbing all of the items, but is it still a good idea to take a multi during a water fast?

If so, the brand that I have is Pure Encapsulations - One multi. I noticed that it has a small amount of potato starch in it, I think as a filler. Will this break my fast?

Answer

generally, people fasting normally don’t take supplements, other than electrolytes. if you are doctor supervised and they tell you take them, then take them.
Fat soluble means that they require fat to be used/stored, so, if you have fat, they will not be wasted. it doesn’t mean you need to take them with fat.
