That’s interesting. I’ll personally read into it a little more but whenever I hear about removing toxins from our bodies it feels a little “spiritual.” I feel like fasting itself does this thru autophagy and using whatever resources available.
On an excerpt from a book written by a doctor advocating for distilled water consumption (but not in regards to a fast) mentions what you do, as well as it promotes stronger bones from being alkaline, even though the water itself is neutral. Then suggests adding lemon juice to make it more acidic because it’s more cleansing. Seems counterproductive?
Also, people who haven’t read the same things as you, or if they have don’t believe them to be credible, are not being ignorant. Do your own research is something we should all do, but understand the dangers of all the misinformation out there, pushed by people selling products, books, or trying to make a name for themselves.
