Try diluting the coffee with water? I for one love milk and sugar in my coffee so I find strong black coffee on my IF days too strong/bitter. I find about 1:3 water:coffee gives me the coffee flavor without the bitterness. Also I switch it up with Tazo tea and green tea during the day. And lots of plain filtered water as well.

Answer

I think some people add a pinch of salt when brewing coffee which might make it less bitter. That said…. It didn’t take long to adjust to black coffee and now I don’t think I could have it with milk and sugar.

I do drink coffee, but try some different tea’s . I love bengal spice. It leans to chai tea and has a sweetnes of cinnamon.

I also chew a hell of a lot liquorice wood. And cinnamon bark (not the stick)

Answer

I thought I’d be a berry tea person but it turns out I like cinnamon tea best.

But also, I developed a taste for black coffee over time and now prefer it. I had switched from cow to almond milk which seemed to ease the transition to no milk. I drink it all day until I eat at 2 pm and rarely get hungry. Good luck!

Answer

Pink Himalayan sea salt is definitely helpful to make it less bitter. You can also trying brewing cold brew in your fridge and cold brew is less bitter in my opinion. I usually buy Dunkin cold brew packs at the grocery store and then your fridge smells good when you have a pitcher brewing!
