What sort of long distances are we talking about here? And what type of fasting are you thinking of? It is potentially doable, it is just that the variables need to be known…
Intermittent fasting should be easily done while exercising, just during your meal times, make your you get your bodies needs completed (minerals etc) whilst not adding too much extra food to make up for times you did not eat.
As you get longer, One Meal A Day (OMAD) and exercise should be easily doable if you are eating healthy, and are relatively healthy, as the fasts get longer though, you need to pay attention to your electrolytes.
