Today i bought black beans and it caught my attention due to the ridiculous amount of protein listed per serving. it says serving size 35g, proteins per serving 12g.
it appears images are not allowed in here, so i’l give as much detail as possible.
front side: Jayone Black Beans Soja noir chinese words (i think soja noir in chinese?)
back side label:
51 serving per container.
serving size 35g
amount per serving:
total fat 6g
total carbs 11g
Protein 12g
other stuff i didnt include.
so, someone with knowledge can give me some insight? lol
Cooked black soybeans have about 12g protein in 135 g beans. Couldnt immediately find data on dry beans but for white soybeans it appears there is 36g protein in 100g of beans. That would fit with the stated 12g protein in 35g
