Has anyone had there TSH and t3 and t4 improve to normal levels from fasting? Or atleast put there hypothyroidism into remission. Thanks!
for some perspective…i am a middle ages male 153lbs/5’10” and my tsh was 6.84 uIU/ml from last blood work. i unfortunately do not fast enough nor have i isolated enough variables to understand the effects my periodical 18:6-23:1 IF has on my tsh values. i do not take medicine and going back about 10 years now my values have been as low as 3.5ish but generally 5.5-6.15; this most recent value being the largest i can recall. i plan to become more active soon enough and try to sustain about 145-147lbs and curious the impact it will have on next blood tests.
although my diet is very low in sugar and is just about always the same meal 2 or 3x a day i will look to diversify much more and consume non goitrogen vegetables which do not impact us as much. i consume very little, next to zero vegetables for about 20 years now; i find food a lame expense and experience. the lowest my tsh has been was during a time i was most active and eating the most vegetables i ever have. having said that, there was significant improvement for exercise frequency and vegetable consumption at that time. there is much less sodium in my diet than average american and i also just about never add salt to anything i eat…i assume iodized salt would help me as well.
curious how you compare or if you or anyone else is willing to share information?
