The only high potassium item I could find is cream of tartar, I would need around 5-6 teaspoons to reach the recommended amount of 3-4g of potassium. Is it okay to take it one teaspoon at a time throughout the day? I heard online that this could cause hyperkalemia. How can I supplement potassium whilst avoiding hyperkalemia?
I buy potassium chloride in tablets. It’s very convenient since each tablet (super small) bears around 400mg of potassium so I supplement with 2-3 per day.
To avoid hyperkalemia (that is a serious thing) just keep your supplementation low; don’t overdo it. Just supplement with 1-2gr of potassium at most; the rest should come with your diet
More in general, unless you’re doing multi-days fasts (like 4-5 days of fasting) you don’t even have to supplement during your fast. Your body can provide all the necessary minerals during 1-2 days fast without the need of any supplementation
Just to reemphasize: products like NoSalt/NuSalt are how most of us supplement potassium during fasting. It’s nearly 100% potassium chloride, so is an ideal potassium supplement. You can weigh/measure it and put it in a glass of water.
For longer fasts, many of us also use sodium and magnesium.

Cream of tartar can work, but I find that it makes me piss quite a lot, I prefer using potassium chloride. I get it in the salt aisle of the grocery store. You might need to go to a pharmacy, but it will depend where you are.
