So I’ve done the snake diet before with some success but then I eventually end up failing. I’m so sick of coming up with excuses to eat. So I’ve decided to really commit this time. I’m going to do rolling 48’s to start off and then work my way up to longer fasts. I woke up early this morning to get a long walk in and I’m hoping to get a second walk in after work.

You have realized that quitting isn’t getting you to were you want to be. A lot of people never figure that out. So you’re on the right path. Get your plan together do rolling 48s with an appropriate refeed 1,500-2,000 calories no junk food. Do that for awhile get comfortable. Don’t worry about longer fast for a while.

Tell me about it. My girlfriend’s metabolism has been high her whole life and she comes from Argentina where they have a lot of sweets and cakes and snacks so she’s constantly eating. All the time I’m like oh I’ll just break my fast and eat healthy since the temptation is there. But as long as you have an iron mind it’s achievable.
