I’ve been wanting to shift to Alternate Day Fasting (ADF) for a very long time. I finally accomplished a few 36-hour fasts in December before my period hit.
I’m 8 days into my cycle and I’m struggling with getting back into a fast longer than 18 hours. I know it’s all mental and would love some tips on how you successfully transition from shorter fasts to longer fasts around your cycle.
Are you using calorie free electrolytes? It really helps. Also 2 tbsp of ACV in a large glass of water will help you with cravings as well.
The day before the fast eat well and healthy, avoid carbs and do the diluted ACV after meals. This will help with cravings during the fast.
