Since I’m doing IF I’m having a really hard time falling asleep. anyone else got this problem?
The main reason I do IF is for my sleep. I sleep much better when I stop eating earlier and not having to worry about breakfast frees up time in the morning for other things. How is your sleep otherwise? Do you have a regular bed/wake time! Are you moving your body? Do you go outside during the day? How much caffeine and when? Do you drink alcohol?
I had horrible insomnia 3 nights in a row this week (only on day 6 of IF). I’ve moved my eating window a bit closer to bed (still done eating 4 hours before bed), upped the protein in my final meal and now take magnesium before bed. Either it’s coincidental or it’s working because the past 2 nights I’ve slept fine.
