Maybe kind of a weird question…
I’ve tried fasting on and off over the past couple of years and I usually give up because I find it really disrupts my sleeping (both amount and quality). Has anyone else experienced this and/or know of potential solutions?
A shower and Melatonin right before bed helps. I had the same trouble when doing IF with keto. I would have trouble falling asleep, and I would wake up earlier, but on keto my dreams were amazing.
I am just doing IF now with low carb (below diabetic but well above keto) and my window is 6am - 1. It’s easier to fast while I am asleep. I still wake up early, but falling asleep is not difficult and I don’t have to take melatonin as often.
