I just recently finished a 9-day dry fast with Dr. Filonov. It was recommended that I wait 7 days minimum and can try another 5-day dry fast. Or I could wait 2 weeks and do 7 days, or 3 weeks and do another 9 days.
Right now I’m on my 5 day dry fast and I feel spectacular, already lost 6 kgs or 13 lbs. I want to loose 26 kilos or 57 lbs more before the summer. So I was planning to do that 7/1 until I’ve reached my weight goal.
Yes this is perfectly normal and ok to do. I do something similar where I eat once a week (on Sundays) then fast Monday-Saturday. On Monday-Saturday I drink water but I’ve dry fasted before Monday-Saturday then ate Sunday then went right back on the fast Monday to Saturday. So I don’t think you should have any issues.
You’ll find it really hits you when you ‘re-feed’. You’ll suddenly feel very whacked.
If this is for big weight loss, and you haven’t done it before, just doing 2 days a week is good at first, and 3 if you’re comfortable with that. That will lose you 1kg to 2kg a week, and you will find that your eating habits change too, and are very easy to change to something healthy. You won’t be crying for chocolate and donuts.
I see other people suggest resting twice as long as the fast you just did. Maybe just doing 2 weeks back to back would be better than having a rest day? I suspect the rest day is going to knock you out
