Diet based on dried seeds and nuts

A little into. I have experience with fruitarianism(4y), vegan(1y), keto(6m), paleo-one-big-dinner(3m) diets.

Also many years of “unhealthy diet”, and for half of a year now I’m on what is considered to be a “healthy diet”.

But I’m always looking for ways of improvement and efficiency.

And for the last few months I have this idea of eating only dried seeds and nuts. No roast, just raw and dry.

Because I can clearly see that after eating ones, I feel best.

Sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, flax, chia, black sesame, cumin are basic and almost all of the seeds I know so far.

Nuts: cashew, almond, Brazil, hazel, pecan, pine, pistachio, walnut, macadamia. (Peanuts?)

I guess eating every 2-3 hours 70-150gr is good. It’s easy to control amount, calories and other stuff.

Could you provide some advices, maybe researches, articles on that topic? Because Google can’t find anything on that. I’d like to get more info and opinions before I try it, if I will.

The most obvious problem for me now is the amount - eating ~100gr seems to be not enough to fill the stomach. This will lead to constant hunger. Even 4-7 times per day.

Answer

Many foods have antinutrients that are neutralized after cooking. Cooking increases the bioavailability of some nutrients. For thousands of years the most common way to consume food was to put it in water and boil it.

Answer

You would hungry with such a limited diet. What happens to all of the vegetables and fruits that are available, all the protein varieties too. Your nut and seed diet has plenty of fats, but not much else for a balanced diet.

Answer

I don’t have what you ask for specifically, but eating something as energy dense as nuts and seeds exclusively seems very difficult and I’d add potatoes, legumes and vegetables to such a diet. You’ll be less hungry and probably even healthier

Answer

You shouldn’t be “experimenting” with restricted diets, it can cause health problems. Eating only one type of food is unhealthy regardless of what it is. The body needs a variety of nutrients from various foods.
