Either a documentary or just a nutrition related movie. I have to do a review of one for a class and I’m having a hard time choosing, so I was looking for suggestions!
What’s your favorite and why?
Super Size Me! If you haven’t heard of this documentary, a man eats McDonalds for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a month straight. It’s one of my favorites because you really see how poor nutrition takes a toll on someone’s physical and even mental health. I believe there’s a Super Size Me 2 as well, but the first one has definitely stuck with me forever. An interesting watch for sure!
Fat and Fat 2…
2 really excellent documentaries about how what we eat, and what we think is healthy, has been influenced by industry, media and government policy.
The first one is currently on YouTube for free: https://youtu.be/61ly1n5W1gA
None. They’re all sensationalist “insert nutritional belief” propaganda. The best ones are certain episodes of “Explained” on Netflix. I believe they have one about how we get fat or something and one on sugar/AS’s. But the traditional ones like What the Health, Game Changers, That sugar film etc are honestly laughable.
