Home made flavoured ice altrrnative to just water? Would this make a water fast pointless.

I have done a few water fasts now longest I get to is the 5th day the I crumble. I have an idea and want to run it past you people to see if there’s any problems to it. So I know it’s suppose to only be water and nothing else however if i keep failing the I figure change the plan and try something different.

It’s getting hot here in Australia now and I’m thinking if I make some home made icey poles and flavour them with lemon and lime juice, flavoured teas the they would be low in calories, high in water content and give me something to taste as well as a cool refreshing alternative to just water.

I would only have one when the cravings are to much and not fall into a pit of dispare like I normally do after I crave and have a chocolate bar or something haha

I wouldn’t do any “super low calorie” stuff for the sole reason that you will be sensitive enough to taste the sugar, and that can just mentally spark you to eat. I’ve drank Croix water on fasts, and that is just subtle enough to not make you want something more, and the fizzy texture spices things up.

That’s more what I would recommend if you’re thinking you’ll get bored of water - get carbonated water for the texture. But the lemon/lime flavoring should be fine for the ice cubes.
