How can you tell if a supplement is synthetic or natural

I need to buy some vitamin D for winter but I want to make sure it’s natural, how can you tell? this is what I’m looking at

Better off how?

This looks fine. You do want D3 rather than D2. You’re getting a lot more than you really need, so if it’s not 100% available what difference would it make?
