Just a rant

So I told my mom about my dry fasting a couple of weeks ago and she has and has not been supportive about. We eat fast food and snack cakes everyday and we arent active so of course we gained weight (we aren’t obese). I wanted to take control of my body and start eating healthy. Only problem is I can’t by my own food since I’m not old enough to get a job, so I asked my mom if she could buy only chicken breasts and broccoli for me. She said yes and I watched her order it but when the groceries came only the usual showed up: frozen pizza, chocolate snacks, ect. But there were others things that we wouldn’t normally get like chips and ice cream. I feel like she is doing this on purpose because she knows I have to eat and is buying these foods to fatten me up again. She has admitted to feeding me and my sister weight gaining supplements when we were younger because she “wanted fat babies” so what are the chances she is doing this again. I can’t do anything about it and it’s fustrating. I feel like I’m a prisoner to food and my mom is the warden. I don’t know what to do.

Good health is good self care. it doesnt seem as though she cares about you more than she cares about making you fat. it’s clearly harmful for you.

my immediate suggestion, is to buy some multivitamins and eat the “healthiest” foods you can get and count your calories. Cut out all sugar, it provides no nutrition to you.

here’s a link of a health professor who lost 30 pounds eating nothing but junk food. it’s all about calories in and calories out.

in my experience, a 3 day dry fast completely removed my sweet tooth and i only ever crave meats and salads. makes dieting easier.

good luck bro
