Less cramps during period?

Started doing ADF last week after OMAD off and on for months. It’s a lot easier than I thought it would be. Yesterday, I started my period about two days earlier than I should have though, so that worries me a bit, but sometimes that just happens to me. So who knows if it’s “bad”. But, usually my first day I am doubled-over in pain, and cannot function without ibuprofen. Like if I start during the night, the pain will be so bad it will wake me up. But I started, and I had pain but it was about 30% of what I usually experience. I just keep expecting my pain to come but it just doesn’t. I’ve noticed over the years that when I start my period my appetite is gone so maybe I’m meant to not eat the first day/day before?

Has anyone else experienced something else like this?

Answer

This time fasting i’m experiencing the exact opposite. I’m on Day 5, and my period starting yesterday and is nearly broke me.

I usually have muscle weakness during a period (which my Doc says is linked to my B12 deficiency and Anemia, and it just feels like aching throughout my body. Very uncomfortable but survivable.

This time though? It actually hurt. Real muscle pains in my arms and legs all day long. And my brain starting using this as a reason to quit my fast. Today it’s there and feels how it usually does, but now with pelvic cramps, and a severe increase in my period itself.

I’m trying to complete a 30 day fast and hold strong, but right now in this moment it’s really really difficult not to cave.
