Tip: Chew on some fennel seeds

I always have some fennel seeds around and have found them really helpful in fasting.

When I absolutely can’t stand the hunger, I chew on a couple and it helps temporarily suppress it. I also tend to get nausea some days, I think from the acidity built up in my stomach and it helps alleviate that as well. As a bonus, it freshens your breath which anyone who’s done long term fasts knows that gross feeling in your mouth.

They’re low enough in calorie that it shouldn’t affect your fast. I literally just put 6-7 in my mouth.

I was reading about Moringa trees earlier today, Moringa seeds are also an appetite suppressant. It’s also widely used in many other countries for its many good nutritional benefits. I’ll look into fennel as well, thank you!
