Are you opposed to eating cruelty-free eggs and dairy? They would probably drastically improve your overall dietary health.

A problem a lot of non-meat eaters run into when they are trying to get protein is eating too much plant roughage from seeds and nuts and legumes, and having digestive issues because of it.

There is also some peripheral research on SHBG being affected by excess fiber.

There are charts online for which plant foods have the highest quality protein / leucine content, you would benefit from prioritizing the ones at the top of that list.

There’s a lot of wonderful food pairings that make a complete protein.Chickpeas and carrots are my favorite complete protein, and I’ll just roast some carrots to blend into a hummus and it’s honestly so delicious.

if your veg and your eating eggs/milk/cheese I dare say you dont need to worry about it. Especially if you’re “mostly” veg. Im a vegan and I dont really think about it at all. I did at first but once you get in the habit its second nature. If I had eggs/cheese in my diet I literally wouldn’t give it a second thought. It’s a word on the outside of packages right now, probably the main reason people talk about it at all. yea its a unique macronutrient, your body cant reproduce it from stores, but tell me the last person you met from a developed country that had protein deficiency. its not a real concern
