If you get to your goal weight with IF what happens after? Do you go back to eating the recommended amount or is IF a complete change in how we eat food?
With intermittent fasting I’ve read, seen, heard that you could eat sensibly as you normally would.
Don’t have to necessarily change how you eat because it’s simply a time restriction on when you can eat in order to allow your body to fully use the energy from the food you eat and then time to use the energy stores on the body like in the liver and body fat.
I have a friend who has been doing it for years (long story with allergies, blackouts, etc.). He now weighs himself every Sunday night to determine if he will do OMAD two or three times a week. If he’s over 170lbs. it’ll be three and under is two. He drinks black coffee on his OMAD days and eats ‘normal’ the other days. He is less strict between Thanksgiving and New Years, so January and maybe February are 3X a week.
