Where can I find an actual nutritionist that won't be extremely expensive?

I live in the DFW area but I’m wondering do they have to be local or can I pick someone online etc?

If you want someone to help you with what you need in terms of calories and macros and help plan things out… going with a certified nutrition coach isn’t too costly. Especially going with an individual vs a program like WAG. I am a nutrition coach and train nutrition clients for $300/8-weeks. So that’s an option! (here’s some info if interested)

If you’re looking for a nutritionist to write a diet plan and help with health concerns then I would look into your local RD’s and hospitals.

Answer

Learn yourself for free on YouTube and Google. There’s a lot of top research and up to date information out there just be sure there’s actual sources for the claims and references that are actual studies and data.

Answer

Online nutrition coaching would likely be more cost effective and convenient. Even without guidance from a nutritionist lots of people can start improving their health by making small adjustments to their favorite meals

Answer

I wouldn’t waste money or time with one unless you have a certain health condition where you have to avoid certain foods. I remember a heavy set nephew of mine saw one and they were recommending a bunch of high calorie foods for him to lose weight. The lady actually recommended pretzels dipped in peanut butter for the kid as a weight loss snack. Their advise for him made no sense and he ended up gaining more weight.
